Alan Fischer directs Ambrosio’s adaptation of M. G. Lewis’s Gothic book The Monk. He plays a mysterious Marissa Marcel as the infamous Matilda.

1970

John Durick writes his thriller Minsky with Marcel in his mind. Set on New York City, the film focuses on the demise of a well-known artist. Marissa portrays the role of the muse who is suspected of murdering him.

1999

To celebrate his last performance, Durick teams up with Marcel once more as she comes back from a lengthy hiatus. Two of Everything, a action thriller with a subversive message about the dual nature of a popular singer as well as her second act is named “Two of Everything”.
