It is an historical role-playing game that focuses on character development, heavily stylized art, and choice-driven storytelling in early sixteenth-century Germany. The main character is an incredibly skilled illustrator who has been that is caught up in a series murders at Kiersau Abbey over twenty five years. The character is the only one with an innate wit and has the capacity to uncover the perpetrators, yet every choice he makes is a long-lasting one that leads him to the heart of a broader conspiracy.
