Front Mission 1st Remake Game Review

World wars are won by giant war machines known as Wanzers in the year 2090. Huffman Island, the only place where the Oceania Cooperative Union (O.C.U.) and the Unified Continental States (U.C.S.) and U.C.S. share a land border. It which is the center of tension.

An O.C.U. reconnaissance unit led by Captain Royd Clive is tasked to examine an U.C.S. munitions plant. They U.C.S. attack them. Wanzers. The incident triggers a sequence of events that plunges all of the island into conflict. Royd’s fiancee, Lieutenant Karen Meure, goes missing in action.

Royd was discharged from army service, and sets off to discover what really happened to Karen. The investigation leads him to in the direction of the conspiracy behind the incident and the forces that have orchestrated the incident.

With hundreds of characters to befriend, its mature plot with non-Manichean heroes, Front Mission is the classic of a tactical Japanese RPG that is finally being made widely available.
